Spring is here, and Easter is near. That means it’s time to take advantage of the big sales on eggs at the grocery stores. That is if you aren’t lucky enough to have your own laying hens.
Jeremy decided that St. Patrick’s Day would be a lot cooler if we morphed it into an official steampunk holiday.
We’ve got big changes going on around here. First off, we’ve got a baby coming in 6 weeks.
The other night Jeremy told me he was in the mood to make cupcakes. We were at Target and the trip lasted later in the evening than we wanted, so at the end, we stopped in the “grocery” section and were considering the easy way out–purchasing some Hostess cupcakes.
Seriously, who’s idea was this crazy project?

This weekend I had a baby shower. Actually, it was a double shower for me and a friend, April, who will be having a baby here in the next week or two.
I was recently on the blog of a friend’s sister-in-law who also happens to be someone Jeremy worked with at the Canon Center at BYU (don’t you love playing the 7 degrees game?) and saw a recap she did on the last decade of her life now that it’s 2010.
After a long rainy gloomy week, it’s finally starting to feel like spring around here again.
We’ve created a chore system in our house. We worked well on it for a while and then lagged off. So it’s time to start again. We need to get this house into ship shape before the baby comes.
This weekend we left the boys in the capable and enthusiastic hands of their Nonny, and Jeremy and I headed out to celebrate our sixth anniversary of marriage.
